Holes in I-OSB beams

MAKING HOLES IN I-OSB BEAMS:

When making holes for technical installation ducts observe the following guidelines:

Holes should be made on the longitudinal axis of the beam web

Maximum permitted hole dimensions are specified in a detailed manual (available upon request)

Holes with a diameter of 20 mm can be made anywhere on the beam web on condition the distance between hole perimeters is at least 50 mm and one row has a maximum of 3 round holes with a diameter of 20 mm.

Never make holes or cut-outs in cover strips (flange plates).

The producer bears no responsibility for static design and assembly of any construction if no authorized static calculation was provided. Use the tables included in this leaflet only for draft design purposes.
