"House for relaxation" made of K-KONTROL® and I-OSB™ in Lithuania:
We would like to share another project and implementation of a self-built wooden house using the K-KONTROL® & I-OSB™ system. Last year, the investor began to realize his dream of a "holiday home." On a large plot of land in a flat, wooded area of Lithuania about 80 km from Vilnius, towards Riga, he built a simple structure for comfortable living in his old age. The photos show the surroundings of the house under construction, surrounded by beautiful nature, full of forest fruits, wildlife, and winter beauty. The house has two floors with a total usable area of 140 m² and a built-up area of 100 m². A large terrace was created on the ground floor and an equally large balcony on the second floor. The shell of the building is a combination of materials and wooden elements such as glued beams for columns and beams (Post & Beam), KVH and BSH profiles, and I-OSB™ wooden beams. K-KONTROL® neo self-supporting sandwich panels are used for the construction of load-bearing walls and partitions.
The owners plan to complete the house this year. We will definitely keep you informed about how it all turns out.
